Tasta l’Estiu 2026 in Benitatxell: Gastronomic Tastings and Local Products of the Costa Blanca

In the municipality of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell (Benitatxell, Alicante, Valencia, Spain),
during the summer of 2026, the Tasta l’Estiu 2026 series of gastronomic events takes place – a cycle of thematic tastings dedicated to local products, artisanal beverages, and the traditional cuisine of the region.

The program is designed to promote local producers, sustainable consumption, and the gastronomic heritage of the Costa Blanca.

Tasta l’Estiu 2026 Programme

• 19 June (Friday) – wine tasting by the BioMoscatell association (free participation).
• 9 July (Thursday) – craft beer tasting by Cervezas Althaia.
• 16 July (Thursday) – tasting of carob-based products by La Penya.
• 6 August (Thursday) – local honey tasting by Mel del Poble Nou.
• 19 August (Wednesday) – wine and traditional product tasting with Melicatessen.

Participation Cost

Most events are offered at a symbolic price of 3 euros per person. The only exception is the first wine tasting on 19 June, which is free of charge.

Registration and Participation Process

The organisers have implemented a phased registration system to control attendance and improve the quality of the events.

• Registration is currently open only for the first tasting on 19 June.
• Registration is carried out via the official portal: esdeveniments.benitatxell.es
• After completing the form, payment must be made by bank transfer within 48 hours.
• Payment confirmation must be sent to the email:
  turisme@elpoblenoudebenitatxell.com including the participants’ full names.
• One participant may complete payment for a group or family.

Touristic Significance

Tasta l’Estiu is part of the broader strategy for developing gastronomic tourism in the Marina Alta region. The project supports local producers, including winemakers, beekeepers, and artisanal brands working with traditional products.
