“Solo Flamenco” in Finestrat: An Evening of Traditional Flamenco Under the Stars

On 4 July, as part of the Estiu Cultural Finestrat summer cultural programme, the Spanish dance company Neira & Santamaría will present its concert and dance production “Solo Flamenco” in Finestrat.

Performance starts at 10:00 PM.

Venue: Plaça de l’Àmfora.

Already well known to local audiences for its acclaimed productions “Atávicas. Mujeres de Lorca” and “Versiones Flamencas”, the company returns with a new programme dedicated to the authentic traditions of Spanish flamenco. The performance takes audiences on a musical and choreographic journey through some of the most iconic flamenco styles. The programme features profound and emotionally powerful forms such as the soleá, seguiriya, caña, and taranto, alongside brighter and more uplifting styles including the guajiras, cantiñas, and tangos. Every performance will be accompanied by live music.

At the heart of the production is traditional flamenco, where singing, guitar artistry, and dance come together in perfect harmony. The creators of the performance preserve the authenticity of this unique cultural heritage while presenting it to contemporary audiences, showcasing the rich emotional depth and artistic expression of one of Spain’s most celebrated musical and dance traditions.
